How to connect a wired microphone, a mixer and speakers
Equipment needed:
- Mixer
- XLR Cable(s)
- Powered Speaker(s)
- Wired Microphone
What you do connect the wired microphone into your mixer:
- Locate the Channel 1 XLR connection on your mixer.
- Plug the male end of XLR cable into the Channel 1 XLR connection on your mixer.
- Plug the other end of the XLR cable, the female end, into the wired microphone.
* If you have another wired microphone, plug it into Channel 2 by repeating steps 1-3.
What you do to connect the first speaker:
- On your mixer, locate the Main Outputs labeled Left and Right.
- Plug the female end of an XLR cable into the Left Main Output.
- Plug the other end of the XLR cable, the male end, into the first speaker.
What you do to connect the second speaker:
- Plug the female end of an XLR cable into the Right Main Output.
- Plug the other end of the XLR cable, the male end, into the second speaker.
